Homecoming Weekend Schedule 

Friday, September 25 is the annual Homecoming Parade starting at 5:00pm followed by the 7:00pm Varsity Football Game vs. Liberty High School. Football tickets can be purchased ahead or onsite at GoFan.

Saturday, September 26 is the Homecoming Dance at MIHS from 7:00 - 9:30pm. Tickets will be on sale soon for students to purchase.

Curriculum Night and the Marketplace will take place on Tuesday, Sep 22 from 5-8pm. This is a great opportunity to meet teachers, explore student organizations, and get an overview of the academic year.

The event schedule and details can be found here. Don't forget to make note of your child's schedule - you'll need room numbers to locate the classrooms throughout the night!

A special thank you to Pagliacci and Macrina for their incredibly generous donations for Teacher Appreciation on Curriculum Night! They are feeding 180 teachers and staff - what an amazing gift to our school community. We are so grateful for their support and generosity.

Share your thoughts on technology in our schools as well as a potential school construction bond with the MISD School Board on Sept. 29, at 6pm.

The Mercer Island School Board will hold a community listening and information session on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 6pm at Mercer Island High School. The session will focus on technology in our schools and a potential bond. Make your voice heard and attend the session to have a conversation with the board about these two important topics!

Join the Washington State PTA Legislative Assembly on Oct. 16 & 17! 
Do you want to discuss, and vote on new issues and resolutions that impact public education in Washington? Join our PTSA Advocacy team at the WSPTA Legislative Assembly on Friday and Saturday, October 16 & 17, at Cascadia College in Bothell. Our PTSA can send a number of delegates, and you could be one of them! High school students are welcome as well - we took two MIHS students last year!

PTA Reflections Art Contest | 2026–2027

PTA Reflections is a national arts program that encourages students to express their ideas, creativity, and talents through the arts.

Students in Pre-K through grade 12 are invited to create an original work inspired by this year’s theme: “What My Culture Means to Me.”
