MIYFS Foundation Honored

MISD partner, the Mercer Island Youth & Family Services Foundation was formally recognized by the MI City Council with Resolution No.1681 for their ongoing financial support to MIYFS since 1989. Along with the City and proceeds from the MI Thrift Shop, the Foundation funds the MIYFS in-school counselor positions at Mercer Island High School, IMS, and at each elementary school. The PTSA is grateful for the MIYFS Foundation's partnership. Pictured here are City Council members (seated), MIYFS Foundation board and staff, and MIYFS Administrator Derek Franklin.
