TOLO Dance - Parent Volunteers needed to contribute deserts

Parent volunteers needed to contribute desserts for the upcoming TOLO dance on March 29 at 7 PM at the Mercer Island Community Center.

We're hoping to have a delicious dessert selection for students and would love parent support in baking or bringing desserts. To ensure everyone can safely enjoy the treats, we ask that desserts avoid common allergens and include a physical ingredient list

Career Hub Updates

We have multiple updates this week about up coming events, see all the details for the below events:

1)  Washington College Planning Day @ UW Bothell- This is a bonus Washington College Fair! It is geared towards the Class of 2026 (juniors) and undecided seniors. This an amazing opportunity. There will be limited seats in vans going to the fair from MIHS, see Ms. Kenyon for details. You don't get many opportunities to connect with all of our fabulous 2 and 4 year colleges and universities in one location, so if you are thinking about staying in state, you should attend!

2) March Events Flyer- on and off campus post secondary activities

3) Lunch and Learn- March 25, Class of 2025 Decision & Financial Aid Seminar- Seniors will have a chance to gather, share a meal, and talk about their post secondary options with caring and knowledgeable staff. There will be opportunities to schedule 1:1 time to get into deeper conversations. The next month is an exciting time of possibilities, but can also be nerve wracking. You are not alone!

4) Career Adventures- This month we visit the Renton Tech Open House (March 11th) and the Seattle Pipe Trades Training Facility (March 20). Se Ms. Kenyon or the Counselor of the Day for more information and a permission slip
