College Transition Information Webinar

MISD is hosting a *“Where Are They Now? How Were They Prepared?”* college transition information webinar on Google Meet for students and families tomorrow, Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 6-7:30pm.

* A panel of recent MIHS graduates speaking about how MISD prepared them for post HS life: college,  university, and beyond.

* Open to all MISD students and families. 

* ⁠Ask the panel questions about their experiences at MIHS and in the district.

* ⁠Learn what advice they have for soon-to-be MIHS graduates.

The PTSA is urgently searching for *Co-Treasurers* for next year’s slate of officers! For one role, we are  seeking a one year commitment and for the other, a two year commitment. Are you a whiz with bookkeeping/accounting, and committed to helping our students and stellar MIHS community? Join our *team* of amazing Moms and Dads to serve! Each of the island PTSA/PTAs have endorsed the Bond that will update our HVAC system and make our Fire Alarm system up to code. It will also finish the second half of the IMS renovations! We are so proud o the hard work that the Bond Committee has done over the last year to determine the highest infrastructure priorities with a prudent eye toward wise investments. (It will be more expensive later to ignore today, our 30 year old furnace held together by eBay parts and hope). We need every voter (including your college-aged kids) to cast their ballot in favor of the Bond to secure these necessary improvements. Thank you!
