Parent Survey- Tech Use in Schools

In response to growing national conversation about kids and screens in schools, SSALD and MI PTA Council Advocacy developed this parent survey to capture what Mercer Island families are actually seeing and feeling about technology use in our schools. The district has endorsed this effort and will use our findings to help shape upcoming policy conversations - including the work ahead for the Technology Advisory Group.

This is a parent-driven survey. Your voice will directly inform advocacy on behalf of students across our community. You do not have to attend MISD to participate in this survey; we encourage all parents on Mercer Island to participate. Responses are anonymous, and if your children have meaningfully different experiences, we encourage you to fill out a survey for each child.

MISF Breakfast of Champions - April 28!

The Mercer Island Schools Foundation’s Breakfast of Champions will take place on Tuesday, April 28 from 7:30am - 8:30am @ MIHS Gym. 

This year’s breakfast will be especially fun, with MIHS alum and comedian Joel McHale hosting the program, along with powerful student stories and examples of how community support brings learning to life in our classrooms.
