Class of 2024 Grad Night Party

Registration for the Grad Night Party is now available. Early bird pricing available until Friday, April 5- click here for more info and a link to the order form.  Also you can now order your soon-to-be graduate a Graduation LeiClick here for more info and a link to the order form. And don't forget to mark your calendar with the dates of all important graduation activities.

  

Senior Activities

The Senior Activities Committee (SAC) has been busy since the start of the school year planning the Grad Night Party and a few other senior activities. As we embark upon a very active graduation season, we wanted to share with you the things we know so far and will commit to sharing additional information as it becomes available. Rising Senior College App Workshop - June 10 - both lunches

Get an early start to your college apps with a lunch-n-learn session with Ms. Kenyon and Mr. Johnston. Brainstorm ideas for essays, sign up for your Common App account, and explore the mysteries of Naviance. Be sure to bring your lunch and laptops for this. 

Save the date: Juneteenth Community Celebration

The MIHS Black Student Union is hosting a Juneteenth Celebration at Mercerdale Park from 12:00 - 4:00 pm. Festivities include live music, black-owned food trucks, face paintings, balloon artists, and more

 

Writing for College Summer Workshop

MIHS teachers Curtis Johnston and David Willecke are offering the 16th annual Writing for College workshops beginning June 25. This year we are offering workshops over two weeks, from June 25 to July 3, with online editing and application support available through August 11. All workshops will be held in person at MIHS. For more information and how to register

Pride Celebration

Please join us for the 2024 Mercer Island Pride in the Park celebration at Mercerdale Park on Saturday, June 15th from 2-5pm! '80s cover band The Scrunchies will perform live along with Mercer Island High School's KMIH 88.9 The Bridge. Enjoy food trucks, face painting, yard games, and our first annual RuPAWS puppy parade and costume contest! All ages, EVERYONE welcome!

AI + X: Interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence Fall Program by Stanford/MIT Alumni
Inspirit AI Scholars equips middle and high school students with an AI toolkit to build a capstone project, AI + X, that draws on students' unique interests, from sustainability improvements to cancer diagnosis to criminal justice reform and more.
