Mock SAT/ACT Tests
MIHS PTSA provides 6 testing opportunities as a chance to practice a real test, become familiar with a testing environment, and help identify which testing platform is best for each individual student. All this in a ‘Mock’ situation where tests are not recorded or submitted to any high school or college organization. This is a perfect chance to ‘try out’ these tests.

President’s Letter
Dear MIHS Families:
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families this week! This is a short week at MIHS due to the holiday. We have much to be thankful for – and that includes having such a strong, caring PTSA that is supported by so many parents in our school district. Because of this generosity we are able to help support our students, teachers, and staff members – which is especially important right now.
One way PTSA offers support is by providing grant opportunities for teachers and clubs. Special thanks to our MIHS PTSA Grants Committee members: Stephanie Kornblum, Tanya Aggar, Lisa Beebe and Bob Do, who met this past week and reviewed this fall’s grant requests. Over 30 grant applications were submitted, totalling over $55,000, and between the District, the Mercer Island Schools Foundation (MISF), and MIHS PTSA, all grants submitted were approved and fully or at least partially funded. Grant recipients will be notified soon and we will post all PTSA awarded grants on our website. Thank you so much to all past and current MIHS PTSA donors!
There are two upcoming opportunities for PTA members in our region to meet with our legislators. They will be discussing the upcoming legislative session, and our presence is needed to help demonstrate that WSPTA priorities matter! Different legislators will be present for each – join for either or both! November 30th at 7pm and December 7th at noon. Zoom links will be sent after registration.

ASB All School Fundraiser
Over the last year and a half of covid our ASB budget took a major hit due to decreased ticket sales at sporting events. To ensure we continue to provide quality services for all sports and clubs here at MIHS we are launching a school wide ASB fundraiser. Please consider supporting MIHS ASB by purchasing popcorn products for your friends and family.
