WHAT's NEW
MIHS Curriculum Night
Wednesday, September 28th | 5pm - 8pm
During this evening, parents will be able to meet their students' teachers, learn their goals and objectives, and get an idea of what their expectations are for student performance. The questions addressed to teachers at this event should be of a general nature for the benefit of all. If parents have specific questions about their child's performance, please schedule a conference with the teacher outside of Curriculum Night.

Gifted and Twice Exceptional Learners (G2EL)
PTA Council would like to announce the formation of a new committee, Gifted and Twice Exceptional Learners (G2EL). G2EL is parent-led and has been established under the MI PTSA Council VP’s of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The purpose of G2EL is to establish a parent community and collective voice to help build awareness and understanding of the unique academic and wholistic needs of students who are gifted, twice exceptional, or have other related learning differences. If you are interested in learning more or joining this group of parents, please send an email to g2el@miptacouncil.org.

Staff Appreciation
As we start a new school year, please help the PTSA stock the mini kitchen in the high school staff lounge. The mini kitchen is a place where teachers can grab a quick snack for a little extra energy boost. It's one way we keep them encouraged and show our appreciation. Items purchased off of this wishlist will ship directly to the school. Your support is greatly appreciated! Purchase items here.
Information for MIHS Seniors and Senior Families
Dear Seniors and Senior Families:
Welcome to an amazing year of your lives. We hope this is a year of celebration, joy, and rich memories of time spent together. But it’s a busy year. In order to help all our Seniors and their families navigate this year, we hope to share as much information, as early as possible, so planning can take place.
Remember you can also check the Seniors tab on the PTSA website for more information.
Mock SAT/ACT Tests
MIHS PTSA provides 6 testing opportunities as a chance to practice a real test, become familiar with a testing environment, and help identify which testing platform is best for each individual student. All this in a ‘Mock’ situation where tests are not recorded or submitted to any high school or college organization. This is a perfect chance to ‘try out’ these tests.
Learn more about the Mock SAT/ACT tests offered by the PTSA.
