We need your help with Graduation Related Activities!
We are looking for student and parent volunteers to help with graduation activities! Check out all the opportunities and sign up today!
STUDENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Baccalaureate Service
- When: Wednesday, June 4
- Time: Approx. 5pm- Event starts at 6pm
- Location: Mercer Island United Methodist Church (7070 SE 24th Street, Mercer Island)
- # of Volunteers Needed: 13 students from the class of 2025
- Description:
- Door greeters (4)
- Singing or playing an instrument (total 2 -3 music pieces)
- Master of Ceremony (2)
- 4-5 students to talk for 2-5 minutes about how your faith has guided you during your life. We would love to include students from all the different faith backgrounds.
- Baccalaureate is an interfaith service that recognizes the graduates and the role their faith has played in getting them to this graduation milestone. Since this is interfaith, ALL faith groups are welcome and represented. Baccalaureate is a service of gratitude, reflection, and expression of love and community among students and families.

Baccalaureate Service Planning Committee
Baccalaureate is an interfaith service recognizing our graduates and the role of faith in their journey. It’s a meaningful evening of gratitude, reflection, and community. All faiths are welcome and represented. This event will be held on Wednesday, June 4 at United Methodist Church on Mercer Island.

Grad Night Party Chaperones
Help make the Grad Night Party an unforgettable experience by signing up as a chaperone. This is a unique opportunity to celebrate with the graduates while ensuring a smooth and safe event.
When: Monday, June 16
Time: Immediately after graduation until 5:00–6:00 AM)
Where: Depart from McCaw Hall, return to MIHS
Volunteers Needed: 6 more parent chaperones are needed
Responsibilities: Ride with students on buses, check-in at stops, and assist as needed
