HOMECOMING WEEK!

• Homecoming Assembly: October 7th – 1:30-3pm
• Homecoming Parade: October 7th – 5:00pm.  The parade will begin at the Upper Northwood Parking Lot and leave down 86th Ave SE. Then, the parade will turn onto SE 42nd St., where it will carry on to 92nd Ave SE, turn left to SE 41 St., and finish behind the school.
• Homecoming Football Game: October 7th - 7pm at MIHS Stadium
• Homecoming Dance: October 8th – 7PM - 9PM at MIHS Gym.  Tickets will be sold from October 3rd-7th for $20 with ASB and $30 for guests and those without ASB.

Staff Appreciation

Help is needed with the first MIHS Staff Appreciation event of the year, a Mexican Fiesta (partly catered by Qdoba) served between the end of the school day and the start of Curriculum Night.  We need parent help to set up, serve, and clean up the meal as well as donate food and drinks. Staff Appreciation

The MIHS Staff Appreciation team is looking for some wonderful people to host our 2022-2023 Staff Appreciation meals in the Faculty Lounge. Our amazing teachers and staff really look forward to these events and this is a great opportunity to help out! If you would like to host/lead a lunch please sign up here.

What’s New!

Wednesday, September 28th | 5pm - 8pm

During this evening, parents will be able to meet their students' teachers, learn their goals and objectives, and get an idea of what their expectations are for student performance. The questions addressed to teachers at this event should be of a general nature for the benefit of all.

Don’t miss the chance to meet & mingle and learn about MIHS volunteer opportunities at this annual event! The administrative and counseling team will be introduced as well. Street parking will be open for this event!

Fees and Photos Day Make Up

If you didn't make it to Fees and Photos Day, please plan on coming to school early on August 31st (the first day of school) to collect your textbooks, iPads, parking pass (if appropriate), etc. The office opens at 7:30am.  Photo makeups will take place September 7th.

We are so excited for the Senior Assembly this afternoon! We are so sorry that parents and supporters are not invited to come in person, but this is so we reduce the chances of spreading Covid right before the graduation ceremony!
