Each year, the PTSA is thrilled to fund grant requests from MIHS teachers and staff. The goal of our program is to support initiatives that enrich student learning or otherwise enhance the educational experience at MIHS. Enrichment grant proposals are funded through the annual enrichment grant budget approved by the PTSA’s membership. This year’s grants have been announced and will support some truly amazing enrichment opportunities for our students including a grant to bring in an Equity and Inclusion speaker for Black History Month, orchestra coaching and band artists-in-residence, Shakespeare workshops, professional stage combat/fighting instruction, Walking for Fitness field trips, after school help at Crest, and a “Take What You Need” project to help marginalized students with basic necessities.
