About the Mercer Island Community Scholarship
Since 1976, the Mercer Island Community Scholarship has been a long-standing Island tradition that currently celebrates 28 MIHS graduating seniors. This scholarship program is administered by the MI PTA Council in collaboration with the MIHS PTSA, MIHS Administration and the greater MI community.
 
Scholarship recipients demonstrate leadership, resiliency, a passion for learning, and are positive contributors to both their classroom and community. The MI Community Scholarship is funded through the sale of Grad Grams and by direct donations from individuals, community organizations and local businesses. To this end, the recipients receive a scholarship up to $500 which will be mailed to your home once fundraising efforts conclude in mid-June.
 

The 28 students receiving a scholarship and their families will be invited to attend this event.
